SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> 279 EAST HOMESTEAD ROAD <br /> l <br /> TRACY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ` SJC APPLICATION NUMBER: PA-04-466 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> it Our office was contracted by Mr. Henry Tosta of Henry Testa Dairy to conduct a soil suitability <br /> study for the proposed lot line adjustment at 279 East Homestead Road,Tracy, California. <br /> L The soil suitability study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for use <br /> with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section <br /> L 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field work included <br /> conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required by San Joaquin <br /> County,Public Health Services,Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> 1In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soft information,geologic <br /> L <br /> maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of soils for use with a <br /> septic system. <br /> L <br /> The formatting of this report has been designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, <br /> the EHD's Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14,2003. <br /> L <br /> 1.1 Site Description <br /> i. The Assessor's Parcel Numbers (APN) for the Site are 239-160-16, 15, 02& 03. Parcel 16 is 33.25 <br /> acres,Parcel 15 is 33.25 acres,Parcel 02 is 13.75 acres and Parcel 03 is 19.86 acres in size (Plate 1). <br /> The county application number is PA-04-466. This application succeeds application PA-04-465 <br /> ` which was a minor subdivision and lot line adjustment involving the same nronetU.
