DISPOSAL Because site conditions are such that available open space is limited, soil generated during June 1998 and June 1999 on-site investigation activities was transported off-site for treatment/disposal On June 25, 1999, 18 cubic yards of soil were transported by Bob Evans Trucking to Forward ' Landfill located in Stockton, California A copy of the Non-Hazardous Waste Manifest is included in Appendix D ' 6.0 WELL SURVEY ATC performed a well survey for the site at the request of PHS/EHD in their correspondence dated October 9, 1998 ATC reviewed Department of Water Resources (DWR) groundwater well construction logs, San Joaquin County well installation permits, and conducted a site walk in the vicinity of the site to identify any groundwater wells located within a 2,000-foot radius of the site ' The records search revealed fifteen wells within approximately 2,000 feet of the site A site reconnaissance was performed on June 25, 1999 and an additional eighteen wells were located ' within approximately 2,000 feet of the site The well locations are shown on Figure A in Appendix E The wells were located on the map according to "well location" description information provided on the well construction logs and well installation permits Copies of the ' well construction logs and well installation permits are contained in Appendix E There is one well (Well No 9) located on site The well permit for Well No 9 indicates a new ' groundwater pump was installed in the well in 1982 No well construction logs were found for Well No 9 ' Five groundwater wells (Well Nos 3, 4, 11, 22 and 23) are located on adjacent properties Well No 3 is located adjacent to the site to the northeast at 6848 East Waterloo Road According to ' the well construction log, the well is 297 feet deep and is screened between 149 and 159 and 287 and 297 feet bgs Well No 4 is located adjacent to the site to the east at 6699 East Waterloo Road According to the well construction log, the well is 180 feet deep and is screened between 120 and 140 and 160 and 180 feet bgs Well No 11 is located adjacent to the site to the north at 6767 East Waterloo Road According to the well permit, the well is 198 feet deep with no screen interval identified on the permit Wells 22 and 23 (which appeared to be domestic wells) are ' located approximately 300 feet northeast and 350 feet east of the site, respectively No well w 1148851reportslSupp1 Invest doc 6 1
