Water Truck Noise Levels: <br /> Approximately 10 water truck passages per hour are expected in the excavation <br /> area to control dust. A mean SEL of 80 dB at 100 feet was assumed for water <br /> truck passages based on noise measurements conducted at the Tracy plant. An <br /> average hourly noise level of 55 dB at 100 feet would result from 10 passages <br /> per hour. An Ldn of 65 dB was predicted for the cumulative <br /> operation of front loaders, haul trucks and water trucks, at a distance of 100 <br /> feet from the center of the excavation operation . Aggregate excavation <br /> operations would be in compliance with the 75 dB Ldn noise standard at the <br /> project property boundary. <br /> 4 <br />
