Project Description <br /> Tracy Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station <br /> 30703 S. MacArthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377 <br /> process source-separated Type A clean inert debris into reusable material up to <br /> 200 TPD. <br /> The Project Description for the Inert Debris Processing Facility is fully described <br /> in the attached document formatted as a Facility Report. <br /> Wood Waste Processing Area <br /> The Wood Waste Processing Area would be re-located to the expansion area to <br /> the south with an increase in capacity of 300 TPD. <br /> Infrastructure Development as shown on the Site Plan): <br /> The following infrastructure is being proposed to support the Facility Expansion" <br /> • Addition of approximately 85 truck parking spaces <br /> • Addition of approximately 45 employee/visitor space parking area with <br /> landscaping <br /> • Addition of paved bin and equipment storage area <br /> • Addition of paved roadway access on southern parcel <br /> Station Securit <br /> Currently, the site is entirely enclosed with a 6-foot high solid chain link fence <br /> along the perimeter with locking gates on S. MacArthur Drive. The fence is <br /> slatted along portions of the frontage of S. MacArthur Drive to screen views of <br /> the interior of the site. <br /> Lighting is provided at the Inert Processing Area and C&D Operations Area. <br /> Tracy MRF & TS will utilize temporary or permanent lighting units for processing <br /> the materials before or after daylight hours. Mobile equipment and vehicles using <br /> the site are equipped with lights for safe use at night or during times of limited <br /> visibility. <br /> Tracy MRF & TS may install additional 20-to-30-foot-high stadium lighting within <br /> the facility for security purposes that will enable them to process debris before <br /> and after daylight, within the operating hours of 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Onsite <br /> processing buildings will contain interior lighting and may have exterior lighting <br /> affixed. The lighting will be facing downwards and inwards towards the facility <br /> and will not point outwards and subject neighboring properties to glare. <br /> Roads <br /> All site maneuvering and parking lots and Compost Facility are paved with <br /> asphalt-concrete or concrete. The C&D/Inert Processing Facility operations area, <br /> and adjacent roads in the expansion area, may be compacted gravel as <br /> described herein. <br /> Visual Screening <br /> The driveway and entrance areas to the facility are the only ground level areas <br /> visible to passersby.
