Project Description <br /> Tracy Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station Expansion <br /> 30703 S. MacArthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377 <br /> w <br /> Processing Equipment <br /> Transfer Station and Material Recove Facility: <br /> The stationary equipment for will consist of: <br /> • Multiple in-ground and elevated conveyor belts <br /> • Screens <br /> • Elevated Sort Line <br /> • Baler <br /> • Scales <br /> • HHW Storage Locker <br /> The mobile equipment will consist of the following: <br /> • Transfer Trailers <br /> • Loaders <br /> • Forklifts <br /> Outdoor Processing Equipment <br /> Outdoor equipment for the composting facility, C&D processing operation, Inert <br /> processing operation, and wood waste processing operation and will consist of a <br /> portable wood grinder, an excavator, a windrow turner, several front-end loaders, and a <br /> trommel screen for screening compost and mulch. Inert wastes will be stockpiled with <br /> other like material and stockpiled to be processed by a vendor-operated portable <br /> concrete crusher. <br /> Equipment Maintenance <br /> The equipment maintenance program will focus on identifying and correcting equipment <br /> problems before breakage or failure occurs. This program will allow equipment <br /> maintenance to be scheduled for weekends or after hours to avoid disruptions to the <br /> waste processing or transfer operations. The inspection, maintenance, and repair <br /> program will be implemented in accordance with the equipment manufacturers' <br /> recommendations. Repair parts will also be stocked in the maintenance shop, as <br /> recommended by the equipment manufacturers. <br /> Standby Equipment <br /> Essential equipment is purchased only from vendors who can supply spare parts or <br /> repair parts within 24 hours of a request for such items. During the 24-hour period <br /> during which replacement parts or equipment is being delivered or repairs will be in <br /> process, recyclable materials may be stored on the tipping floor of the MRF.
