Project Description <br /> Tracy Material Recovery facility and Transfer Station Expansion <br /> 30703 5. MacArthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377 <br /> Station Personnel <br /> The types of supervisory personnel provided include: <br /> Facility General Manager. This person is responsible for overall site operations. <br /> Reporting to the general manager will be an operations manager whose duties will be to <br /> oversee the specifics of his/her respective operation. <br /> Operations Manager. The operations manager is on-site during operating hours to <br /> oversee material recovery, transfer, and maintenance operations. <br /> Scale Master and Record keeper. These staff members will be responsible for operating <br /> the scale facility, monitoring incoming loads, and maintaining all transaction records. <br /> Training <br /> Personnel will be trained in the proper use of facility equipment. Potential hazards and <br /> safety features will be stressed. No employee will be permitted to operate equipment <br /> until the employee has demonstrated that he or she is competent. Wastes are removed <br /> from corners, underneath equipment, and other out-of-the-way locations by site <br /> personnel to prevent accumulated material from interfering with the safe operation of <br /> the facility. <br /> A routine site walk by facility personnel focuses on ensuring that wind-blown litter is <br /> picked up and a clean appearance maintained. The site is surrounded by fencing that <br /> prevents litter from blowing from the facility. <br /> Container Cleaning <br /> The facility uses 10- to 40-cubic-yard roll-off boxes and 3- to 6-cubic-yard bins for <br /> temporarily storing recovered loose materials or residuals before they are processed.
