Hazardous Waste: - w The facility will be available for periodic household hazardous waste events sponsored by San Joaquin County. Ary hazardous materials discovered in the waste stream will be temporanly stored in a hazardous waste locker until disposed of off the site. The facility will accept recvclabie household hazardous materials such as used on, lead acid batteries, and antifreeze. These materialals will be labeled,stored at the site In special-bins and containers,and transported off the site by dealers In these commoffes. As required by the California integrated Waste Management Board,a toad screening program will _ be implemented at the transfer station. The facft will also not accent any hazardous commercial or Industrial waste. ENVIRONM, NTAL CONSIDERATIONS- All of the issues identified and analyzed in the EIR can be mitigated to less than significant levels. Therefore, a nStatement of Overriding Consideration"will not be required to take action on the project. Attachment A includes the findings necessary to certify the Final EIR as adequate. Attachment B contains the'Findings of Significant Environmental Impact,•and Attachment C is the Mitigation Monitoring program.
