Statement of Fact: This impact will be reduced by the following: • Place plastic sheeting, debris fences, silt fences, and/or hay bales to protect disturbed surfaces during storms during construction. Following construction, all disturbed surfaces, especially slopes, shall be revegetated. D. WATER RESOURCES D.I. Potentially Sjanffiant Impact: Surface water contamination may occur from dL%charQe of surface AM or storm waters that have become contarninated. Find Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as identified in the Final EIR. Statement of Fact: This impact will be reduced by the following: • Construct on-site drainage, as proposed. • The evaporation/collection pond for surface runoff from the active working area (the yard and wood waste area) shall be lined. • All surface areas involved in the transportation, processing,or storage of wastes shall be paved or lined and drained to an appropriate catchment facility to prevent contaminated runoff from entering the surface and ground water. • The proposed receiving and processing operations shall take place within covered and paved structures. The outdoor wood and yard waste composting area shall be paved or lined. Except for yard and wood waste,there shall be no direct precipitation onto wastes and no contamination of surface water. Ail buildings shall be constructed so that storm runoff shall not enter and come into contact with waste or recovered materials. - _.._.... ............. __..
