ANDERSON ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> A N D A S S O C A T E S INSPECTIONS a TESTING <br /> LABORATORY SERVICES <br /> POOL ENGINEERING <br /> _ POST TENSION DESIGN <br /> July 9, 2004 <br /> SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> MINOR SUBDIVISION PA-04-89 <br /> 27570 NORTH MACKVILLE ROAD <br /> CLEMENTS, CA 95227 <br /> ///1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> _ Our office was contracted by Mr. Kenneth Skibo, the property owner, to conduct a soil <br /> suitability study for the proposed minor subdivision located at 27570 North Mackville Road, <br /> _ Clements, California. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> the use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development. A major element of the field <br /> work included conducting percolation tests that meet the required absorption rates as required <br /> by San Joaquin County Public Health Service Environmental Health Department (EHD). <br /> In addition to conducting the percolation tests, a review of published soil information, <br /> geologic maps, and ground water information was performed to evaluate the suitability of <br /> soils for use with a septic system. A review of a Surface and Subsurface Contamination <br /> _ Report prepared by Walter E. Curtis, Civil Engineer was performed (Curtis, 2004). As part <br /> of his Surface Subsurface Contamination Report, a well water sample and was tested for <br /> nitrate and DBCP.
