Application No:PA-0400248(ZR)&PA-0400789(SU)
With this project site located in close proximity to State Routes 99 and 4, 108 residential
units will have an immediate impact on transportation. This project is located adjacent to
large areas planned for major development in the future. What are the potential cumulative
affects with regard to transportation as the adjacent areas are developed?
In addition to County fees addressing local transportation mitigation, a Regional
Transportation Impact Fee(RTIF) should to be assessed and payable when building
permits are issued. If a county-wide RTIF is not in force before building permits are
issued, then an interim RTIF payment of$2,500 per residential unit should be made to an
RTIF fund administered by San Joaquin County until such time as a county-wide fee is
established.
Sierra Club requests that it continue to be updated on the progress of this project and
informed about any changes. Please use P.O. Box 9258, Stockton, CA 95208 for
notification.
Sincerely,
C --
Dale E.
