L December 23,2005 NOA Project Number: E05150A In the 1998 photo, the orchard has been removed from the property except for one patch on the western side. The trees lining the former stream have been removed as well. Greenhouses can be seen to the north of the structures on the property. The surrounding properties remain relatively unchanged Lfrom the 1993 photo. In the 2002 photo,the property and surrounding properties remain relatively unchanged from the 1993 photo. These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is limited by the scale and quality of the photos. V 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps Historic topographic maps of the subject property were obtained through EDR Maps of the Stockton East quadrangle published in 1952, 1968, 1968 photorevised in 1976, and 1968 photorevised in 1987 were reviewed, as well as a 1914 edition of the Burnham quadrangle. In the 1914 map, two structures are depicted to the west of the subject property. A drainage crosses Lthe center of the property. Main Street,Walker Lane, and Cardinal Avenue are depicted. In the 1952 map,one structure is depicted in the southwest comer of the subject property. Urban areas of Stockton are depicted to the north and west of the subject property. Walker Lane has been extended �+ along the eastern boundary of the subject property. The drainage crossing the property and the structures to the west are no longer shown. The property is depicted as agricultural land,and properties to the east and south are depicted as orchards and agricultural land. L. In the 1968 map,a second structure is depicted to the west of the structure on the subject property,and two structures are depicted on the property to the immediate west. The northern portion of the subject property is depicted as orchard. In the 1976 map,no orchards are depicted in the vicinity of the property. In the 1987 map, orchards are once again depicted. No other significant changes are apparent These maps are included in Appendix C of this report. 2.4 Interviews An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property L from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and Disclosure Statement was completed by Karl Barnes of Kemp Land Company on November 7,2005.
