L <br /> December 23,2005 <br /> NOA Project Number: E05150A <br /> In the 1998 photo, the orchard has been removed from the property except for one patch on the <br /> western side. The trees lining the former stream have been removed as well. Greenhouses can be seen <br /> to the north of the structures on the property. The surrounding properties remain relatively unchanged <br /> Lfrom the 1993 photo. <br /> In the 2002 photo,the property and surrounding properties remain relatively unchanged from the 1993 <br /> photo. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is <br /> limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> V <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> Historic topographic maps of the subject property were obtained through EDR Maps of the Stockton <br /> East quadrangle published in 1952, 1968, 1968 photorevised in 1976, and 1968 photorevised in 1987 <br /> were reviewed, as well as a 1914 edition of the Burnham quadrangle. <br /> In the 1914 map, two structures are depicted to the west of the subject property. A drainage crosses <br /> Lthe center of the property. Main Street,Walker Lane, and Cardinal Avenue are depicted. <br /> In the 1952 map,one structure is depicted in the southwest comer of the subject property. Urban areas <br /> of Stockton are depicted to the north and west of the subject property. Walker Lane has been extended <br /> �+ along the eastern boundary of the subject property. The drainage crossing the property and the <br /> structures to the west are no longer shown. The property is depicted as agricultural land,and properties <br /> to the east and south are depicted as orchards and agricultural land. <br /> L. <br /> In the 1968 map,a second structure is depicted to the west of the structure on the subject property,and <br /> two structures are depicted on the property to the immediate west. The northern portion of the subject <br /> property is depicted as orchard. <br /> In the 1976 map,no orchards are depicted in the vicinity of the property. <br /> In the 1987 map, orchards are once again depicted. No other significant changes are apparent <br /> These maps are included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> An attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property <br /> L from the property owner or key site manager of the property.
