L L November 15, 2004 L NOA Project Number: E04123A L 3.1.5 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on October 11,2004 in an effort to obtain copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. One permit, dated January 8, �. 1979, was found for the subject property address of 5113 East Main Street. This permit was for the deepening of an existing domestic well. p. 3.1.6 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources The California Department of Oil,Gas,and Geothermal Resources(DOGGR)Wildcat Map#606 was V reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. J.L7 Site Reconnaissance A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on October 7, 2004 by Ms. Abigail L Racco and Ms. Rebecca Haskett,and on November 3,2004 by Mr.David Wood. Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. r The subject property was observed to be flat and was mostly fallow land except for the area near the residence and a small walnut orchard. Several rusted greenhouse structures were observed on the 6. subject property near the residence. The property lines to the east, south, and north are defined by Walker Lane, East Main Street and Horner Avenue, respectively. �. A primary residence and bam were observed at the southwest comer of the subject property. The interior of the residence was not inspected. I L An above-ground fuel storage tank was observed on the east side of the residence. A large debris pile,mostly wood and brush,was observed toward the middle west of the property,near L the orchard. Concrete pipe, an industrial drum, and agricultural equipment were observed near the middle of the property. The industrial drum was old, rusted and perforated. The drum contained an unknown liquid,likely rainwater. L Several large greenhouse skeletons were observed near the residence. Near the greenhouses were L several open, empty, non-labeled chemical containers, herbicide and pesticide containers, and other agricultural equipment. A well was observed behind the bam, along with another industrial drum. This drum had a spigot, r, indicating it was a dispenser,possibly for fuel. 7 L "44 6.
