ENGEO <br /> INCORPORATED <br /> .. 4.0 RECORDS REVIEW <br /> 4.1 Historical Record Sources <br /> The purpose of the historical record review is to develop a history of the previous uses or <br /> occupancies of the property and surrounding area in order to identify those uses or occupancies that <br /> are likely to have led to recognized environmental conditions on the property. <br /> 4.1.1 Historical Topographic Mans <br /> r <br /> Historical USGS 7.5 Minute Quadrangle Topographic Maps were reviewed to determine if <br /> discernible changes in topography or improvements pertaining to the Property had been <br /> recorded. We reviewed USGS 7.5 Minute Lathrop Quadrangle Maps dated 1915, 1952, <br /> 1978, and 1996. <br /> Each of the maps show the San Joaquin River in place running north to south along the <br /> western boundary of the Property. Each of the maps also show West Manila Road in place <br /> running east to west along the southern boundary of the Property. <br /> �. 1915 - West Manila Road, mapped as an unimproved dirt road, runs east to west along the <br /> southern boundary of the Property before turning north into the western area. West Manila <br /> Road terminates at one small building mapped within the western area of the Property The <br /> San Joaquin River is mapped running generally south to north along the western boundary of <br /> the Property. The town of Lathrop is mapped approximately 2 miles southeast of the <br /> Property. <br /> 1952 — West Manila Road is now mapped as an improved road. A pump is plotted at the <br /> approximate mid-point of the western boundary of the Property.
