FREWERT ROAD CLASS III SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL SITE <br /> dS SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> n <br /> r Q� The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central valley <br /> Region, (hereafter Board) finds that: <br /> 1. Teichert Construction, Post Office Sox 1118, Stockton, California <br /> 95201, submitted a\report of waste discharge dated 7 March 1974. <br /> 2. Teichert Construction proposes to discharge Group 3 solid wastes <br /> .. in the rrewert Road Class III Solid Waste Disposal Site, to be <br /> located at the end of 'Frewert Road; three miles northeast of <br /> Lathrop, in the NW4 of `Section 16, TIS, R6E, MDB&M, as shown in <br /> Attachment A incorporated herein and made part of this order. <br /> This property is owned byWinifred B. Burchell, Box 215, Walnut <br /> Grove, California 95690. <br /> 3 . Sroken concrete, dirt, and rck will be used to fill in an exist- <br /> - ing small, man-made, dead-end slough adjacent to the San Joaquin <br /> River. Site capacity is 6,000 cubic yards. <br /> 4. In accordance with Section 2552 f Title 23, Chapter 3 of the <br /> California Administrative Code, ichert';Construction has certi- <br /> fied that all local agencies with 'urisdiction have approved use <br /> of the site for the intended purpo <br /> 1 <br /> 5. Soils in the area are comprised of a uvial deposits of clays, <br /> silt, and gravel. Groundwater is gen rally 5-10 feet below the <br /> ground surface. <br /> 6. This disposal site meets the criteria co tained in the California <br /> Administrative Code, Title 23, Chapter 3, Subchapter 15 , for <br /> classification as a Class 3 disposal site uitable to receive <br /> only Group 3 wastes. <br /> 7. The Board on 15 June 1971 adopted an Interim Water Quality Con- <br /> trol Plan for the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delt Basin, whose waters <br /> may be affected by this discharge. <br /> 8. Beneficial uses of the San Joaquin River and Delta waters are <br /> municipal, industrial , and agricultural supply; recreation; <br /> _. esthetic enjoyment; navigation; and preservation and enhance- <br /> ment of fish, wildlife, and other aquatic resources <br /> 9. Land within 1 , 000 feet of this site is used for agriculture. <br />
