However, based on the percolation rates obtained on the
Proposed parcel two, an engineered septic system will be required.
Discussion of the Septic System Size
Septic System Construction should follow the San Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater
Disposal Standards where applicable. The Engineered system should be designed and submitted
to San Joaquin County, Environmental Health Department for approval.
7. CONCLUSION
In summary, a satisfactory percolation rate of the soil was achieved in the proposed septic
disposal area for proposed parcel one at the Site. The septic disposal area appears suitable for a
standard septic system. A non-satisfactory percolation rate of the soil was achieved in the
proposed septic disposal area for proposed parcel two at the Site. The septic disposal area
appears to require a engineered septic system. Perched ground water was encountered in one
bo led on the property at 21 feet. The results reported 14.2 mg/l of Total Nitrogen as N
d 1.0 ugIL pb) of DBCP. California MCL for Total Nitrogen is 45 mg1L and for DBCP is
0.2 ug/l.
8.
