Manthey Rd Dear Staff: After reviewing the above application, I would request the following conditions be placed on the application prior to Final approval: 1. Project must conform with the appropriate edition of the Uniform Fire Code (currently, the 1997 edition) and all related standards. 2. Fire Department Facility Fee's are to be paid in accordance with the San Joaquin County Ordinance and Resolutions adopting the fee schedule-$0.14 per sq. ft. 3. The location of this proposed facility appears to be within or near the Sphere of Influence of the City of Lathrop. The City should be checked with to insure the safe co-inhabitance of Warehouse and Limited Industrial with what the City of Lathrop has zoned for this area. 4. In order to commence construction beyond the foundation stage or storage of building materials,requirements for emergency vehicle access and adequate water for fire suppression shall be provided in accordance with Section 901.3,Section 902.2.1,Section 903.2 and Section 8704 of the 1997 Uniform Fire Code. 5. With the size of this facility and the close proximity of each building,fire sprinklers may be required. 6. The Fire Access Road shall meet the San Joaquin County Public Works Standard. 7. The width of the roadways within the complex,especally at the intersection of buildings,may need to be increased to allow the passage and turning of emergency vehicles. 8. Knox Box security key box shall be provided. Applications are available at the fire district offices.
