CALIFORNIA FIRE CODE The following California Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated-in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit: (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project as required by CFC, Section 507, and Appendix III-A and III-B of the CFC. (2) Fire protection systems shall be installed according to the CFC, Chapter 9 and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. (3) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with the CFC, Section 503 and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. (4) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the Montezuma Fire Protection District's instructions. (5) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with CFC, Section 906.
