(2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public thoroughfares,provided, however,that such light shall not cause a hazard to motorists. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) All areas not used for buildings,parking,driveways,walkways,approved outdoor storage areas, or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. At a minimum, a ten (10) foot wide planting strip is required along adjacent streets. The strip shall be continuous except where crossed by driveways and walkways(DevelopmentTitle Section 9-1020.8). j. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: (1) All storage materials and related activities,including storage areas for trash,shall be enclosed by a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet in height. Items stored within one hundred (100) feet of a dedicated street or residential zone shall not be stacked higher than two (2) feet above the adjacent screen.(DevelopmentTitle Section 9-1022.4[e][2][A]) k. UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: (1) Drawings and engineering must be provided to plan check for the light standards installed on the property. (2) Drawings and engineering must be provided to plan check for the permit to build the pole bam structure and shop. (3) Obtain a demolition permit to demolish the existing office building. (4) A Building Permit is required for the new mobile office that will be installed on the property. This office will have to meet the handicap accessibility requirements of Title 24 of C.C.R. I. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: (Staff Contact:Steve Dalton,468-2229) (1) The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit A. Fire flow hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by use of: (a) Public water mains(Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code). (b) Static water supply(NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code). (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. (3) Key Boxes:A Knox box shall be installed in accordancewith California Fire Code, Standard 10-1 of Volume 2.
