(2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No <br /> spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public <br /> thoroughfares, provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to <br /> motorists. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[g][4]) <br /> i. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, walkways, approved <br /> outdoor storage areas, or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. At a <br /> minimum, a ten (10) foot wide planting strip is required along adjacent streets. <br /> The strip shall be continuous except where crossed by driveways and walkways <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1020.8). <br /> j. SCREENING: Screening shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All storage materials and related activities, including storage areas for trash, <br /> shall be enclosed by a screen six (6) to eight (8) feet in height. Items stored <br /> within one hundred (100) feet of a dedicated street or residential zone shall not <br /> be stacked higher than two (2) feet above the adjacent screen. UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: The following Uniform Building Code and San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection <br /> Division: <br /> (1) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements (C.C.R., <br /> Title 24). <br /> I. UNIFORM FIRE CODE: (Staff Contact: Steve Dalton, 468-2229) <br /> (1) The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction <br /> plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a <br /> building permit. <br /> (2) Fire flow hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by use of <br /> (a) Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code (public water mains). <br /> (b) NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code (static water supply) <br /> (3) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (4) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed in accordance with California Fire <br /> Code, Standard 10-1 of Volume 2. <br /> (5) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance to conduct operations <br /> hazardous to life or property C.F.C. 105.2.1 <br />
