The findings of the report indicate the septic system will need
to be engineered due to the size limitations of the property, along with modifications to the
system to help mitigate potential nitrate buildup from on site use.
A Sept system design and layouwas completed for the site/based on the number of
employees, soil conditions, percolation test rates and the requirements of the San Joaquin
Environmental Health Department. Please see the SS/NLS for further details regarding the
33 West Mathews Road property site conditions.
Septic System
A Stan rd septic system for three (3) employees per day will reuire a primary disposal field of
774 squ re feet. A 100 percent replacement fieldivill quire 774 square feet. In order to
reduce the disposal field sizes, Mr. Rodney Estrada`,or the n Joaquin County Environmental /'
`Jiea Department (EHD) indicated that a "double 'to tripl• thickness" engineered filter bed
would be acceptable and would reduce the tro om ea ware footage by,,half or a third.
Therefore, the primary area has been reduced M 338 square feet and the 100 percent area to
338 square feet by irl reasing the thickness of t e ed from 12 to 42 inhes. In order to
help mitigate nitrate buildup, four (4) inches of co t hould be placed at the bottom of the
filter bed. Please see the attached work sheet for st dard San Joaquin County EHD septic
system calculation. \
ANGELS CAMP • LODI • MODESTO • RENO • SACRAMENTO • WALNUT CREEK
L 0 D I 902 Industrial Way • Lodi,CA 95240 • 209.367.3701 FAX 209-369.4228 • w .noandersonxom
