The soil logs and percolation test results can be found in the SSS. <br /> Sidewalks and curbs are considered structures by EHD and would normally require 10 feet of <br /> setback from a septic system; however, the setback could be reduced to 3 to 0 feet provided <br /> that GeoGrid is placed adjacent to the filter bed below these structures. The EHD indicated that <br /> the reduction in setback to sidewalks and curbs would be acceptable. <br /> An ins0 ction of know water wells in the area indicated that the septic system will most likely <br /> hay setback issues, one possible exception being the property directly west of the site. We <br /> erp unable to confirm that the shed located in the back area does not contain a concealed <br /> water well. Mr, Gre Oliveira of the San Joaquin County EHD said that his records do not <br /> indicate wat wel existing in the area that would have setback issues. We understand <br /> from the EHD t at all of the businesses in the area receive public water service and do not <br /> require well water for their drinking supply. <br /> The results of this investigation are not a guarantee that the San Joaquin Environmental Health <br /> Department will approve the proposed septic system design and layout on the property. Three <br /> copies of this letter should be submitted with a report review fee of $210 to the San <br /> Joaquin Environmental Health Department.
