k) UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a <br /> building permit. <br /> i) Fire flow hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of NFPA 1231 <br /> of the National Fire Code. <br /> ii) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs <br /> Association. <br /> iii) Key Boxes: A Knox Box shall be installed in accordance with the local fire <br /> department's instructions. <br /> iv) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, standard <br /> 10-1 of Volume 2. <br /> v). Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to <br /> life or property C.F.C. 105.2.1 <br /> 1) BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Building Code and San <br /> Joaquin County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> i) The proposed use will change the occupancy from an unknown occupancy to a B/S-1 <br /> occupancy (UBC Section 3405).
