(2) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access requirements. (CCR Title <br /> 24) <br /> (3) The proposed project is located within an expansive soil area where a <br /> conventional foundation may not be suitable. Therefore, an engineer is required <br /> to evaluate the foundation design. <br /> b. A grading plan shall be submitted by the owner, and it shall be approved and a grading <br /> permit issued by the Building Inspection Division prior to any excavation or filling of earth <br /> material: <br /> (1) The grading plan shall contain the information listed in the UBC, Appendix, <br /> Chapter 70, Section 7006(1). <br /> (2) The grading plan shall include complete drainage details and elevations of the <br /> adjacent parcels. Retaining wall details shall be submitted where applicable. <br /> (3) Grading in excess of 5,000 cubic yards shall comply with Section 7014 for <br /> 'Engineered Grading Requirements.' <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be incorporated in the grading <br /> plans. <br /> (5) All compaction reports must be submitted prior to a foundation inspection. <br /> (6) All grading permits are subject to approval by the other departments. <br /> (7) All grading authorized by the permit shall be approved prior to issuance of any <br /> building permits or the beginning of any construction. <br /> C. The Construction Site Plan shall indicate the following: <br /> (1) Provide parking for the physically handicapped. The spaces shall be located as <br /> close as possible to the primary entrance. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> (2) Provide identification signs for the parking spaces, including the 'tow away' sign <br /> at each entrance or visible from each space. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> (3) The slope of a parking space shall not exceed 14-inch per foot. (CCR, Title 24) <br /> 5. BUILDING INSPECTION DIVISION/FIRE SERVICES: <br /> a. The proposed development shall meet all requirements of the Building and Fire Codes <br /> relating to that occupancy, including the requirement for the installation of fixed sprinkler <br /> systems it the buildings are more than 6,000 square feet in area, or the buildings shall be <br /> divided by rated fire wall assemblies into areas less than 6,000 square feet. <br /> b.
