San Joaquin County May 3, 1996 <br /> Use Permit # 96-2 Page 2 <br /> Projects of this typE can generate emission from the movement of soil, use of <br /> construction equipment, bulk materials handling, asphalt paving and other <br /> related activities. <br /> This project is subject to District Regulation VIII (Fugitive Dust Prohibitions). <br /> The purpose of Regulation VIII is to reduce the amount of fine particulate matter <br /> (PM10) entrained into the ambient air from man-made sources. Specifically, the <br /> Rules within Regulation VIII that apply to this project are: Rule 8010 <br /> (Administrative Requirements), and Rule 8020 (Construction, Demolition, <br /> Excavation, and Extraction Activities). <br /> Rule 8030 (Handling and Storage of Bulk Materials), Rule 8060 (Paved and <br /> Unpaved Roads), and Rule 8070 (Parking, Shipping, Receiving, Transfer, <br /> Fueling, and ServicE! Areas) may apply to this project. <br /> The attached Synopsis highlights many of the requirements contained within <br /> Regulation VIII.
