Analysis <br /> Background <br /> On June 17, 1999, the Plannirg Commission voted 5 to 1 to approve Use Permit No. UP-96-0002. One <br /> commissioner was absent. No c ne spoke in opposition to the project. <br /> On May 7, 2001, Phase 1, classrooms, church administration offices, youth room, assembly room, and 100 <br /> parking spaces, was completed Grading for Phase 2 has been started. <br /> Revisions of Approve Actions. <br /> The revision will extend the time frame for Phases 2 and 3 from seven years to twelve years- The use and <br /> the total seating capacity will remain the same. <br /> The current Condition 1.b. states: <br /> APPROVED USE: This approval is for a church facility to be constructed in three phases over seven years <br /> as shown on the Plan submitted March 19, 1999, <br /> 1. Phase 1 shall include a 14.400-square-foot administration /midweek ministry building and 100 parking <br /> spaces. <br /> 2. Phase 2 shall include a 12,000-square-foot multi-purpose building with a seating capacity of 550. An <br /> additional 160 parking spaces shall be provided. <br /> 3. Phase 3 shall include a 24,000-square-foot worship building with an expanded seating capacity of 2,000 <br /> and three 6,000-square-foot youth/nursery buildings.
