1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> l 1.1 Description of Site: The project consists of a 20.89 acre parcel located at <br /> 1158 N. Fine Road, Linden, CA. The subject parcel numbers are 093-040, 53, and 54. The (� <br /> F, project is in an agricultural community, and the existing parcel is zoned RIR (Rural <br /> Residential). <br /> F1 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to split a 20.89 acre parcel into <br /> ' four 2 acre parcels and one Designated Remainder parcel. In accordance with the San Joaquin <br /> F. County Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) is being <br /> submitted for approval. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical <br /> environment contamination based on field observation, interviews with the owner, and county <br /> records. (This SSCR includes no chemical analysis). <br /> F <br /> 1.3 Parcel Location Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map with Vicinity Map, and APN <br /> i Page) <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). <br /> i <br /> 2.0 PAST PRESENT AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> l 2.1 Discussion of Past, Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of <br /> information of the historic use of this property is testimony of the owner, Gerald Ford. The (2. J ). <br /> owner was interviewed on March 20, 2008. Gerald Ford has owned the subject parcel for 7' <br /> years. The land use has not changed under his ownership. <br /> Presently the property includes a walnut orchard, two houses, a garage, and a barn. The <br /> + surrounding properties to the north and west are used for agricultural purposes and to the east <br /> and south are used for rural residential purposes. <br /> 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION: <br /> 3.1 Methods Used to Research: Methods used to research this parcel were records <br /> researched at the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office on March 20, 2008 i <br /> f (see appendix for results). An onsite survey performed on March 20, 2008 by Joe Murphy of <br /> Dillon & Murphy. The owner was interviewed on March 20, 2008, by Joe Murphy of <br /> Dillon & Murphy. San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's underground <br /> storage tank site mitigation database list did not yield any findings on the subject parcel (see <br /> appendix), A search for U.S.T./L.U.S.T sites was done on the subject parcel and yielded no <br /> findings.
