5. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING
Currently there is a well on Parcel 1 serving the Shermantine residence with
the capability of providing all the water necessary to irrigate the area of pasture.
on the existing 7,81 acres parcel. Each parcel 2 & 3 will develop their awn wells
when they are developed. Mr Shermantines well is to a depth of 185'/
6. SOIL PROFILE AND PECOLATION TESTS
Three test holes for percolation were drilled to a depth of 20.5' to 25'
and 12" in diameter. Visual classification of each stratum encountered was made
in the field by a Civil Engineer at the time the test holes were drilled and
are shown on the perk test logs.
The location of the test holes are shown on the attached application. The
deep pits are recam ended to be to a depth of 25' .
Percolation tests were performed in the holes with a copy of these tests
attached. It can be seen fran the tests that the perk rate for the tests ranged
frau 8' per hazer for test hole 2 and 36" per hour for both test holes 1 and 3.
The deep pits will be the method of installation. System will contain a septic
tank, 3 leach lines and 3 deep pits.
7. CONCLUSION
Based on the results of the percolation test, the soil profile and the past
performance of the existing septic systems in the area and the wells in service
in this area, would not be adversely affected or be detrimental to the ground
water supply and will meet the requirements of the San Joaquin County Public
Health Services Department.
8. LIMITATIONS
The conclusions in this report are for the information gathered only and does
not warrent any portion of the site not tested. It is assumed that the test results
should be representative of the site as a whole.
Sincerely,
William Armstrong, P.E.
Q0 QROFESS1pNqFy
5 WILLIAM CLYDE C
W ARMSTRO
No. 1
Exp./2-3/•95
r
lglE Of CAL*\Q
