1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> 1.1 Description of site: The project consists of one 450'acre parcel located at 23400, <br /> 23700 E. Milton Road, and 23757 E. Copperopolis Road, Linden, CA. The project is in an <br /> agricultural community, and the existing parcels are zoned AG-40. <br /> 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to split the 450 acre parcel into <br /> seven parcels; seven 40 acre parcels and one 170 designated remainder. In accordance with the <br /> San Joaquin County Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report(SSCR) <br /> is being submitted for approval. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical <br /> environmental contamination based on field observation, interviews with the owner, and county <br /> records. This SSCR includes minimal chemical analysis. <br /> 1.3 Parcel location map: (See Appendix for Tentative map with Vicinity Map, and APN Page). <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). <br /> 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> 2.1 Discussion of past,present, and proposed future uses: The primary source of information <br /> of the historic use of this property is testimony of the owner,Richard Nassano. Mr. Nassano <br /> was interviewed in August, 2007. Mr. Nassano has owned the property for 8 years. This <br /> property and all surrounding properties have consistently been used for agricultural and rural <br /> residences. There is currently an existing home with a well and septic system located at the <br /> northeasterly comer of the site. <br /> Future use of the property consists of either rural residential or agricultural development. No <br /> construction is proposed at this time. <br /> 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION: <br /> 3.1 Methods used to research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched <br /> at the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office on September, 2007 (see appendix <br /> for results), an onsite survey performed in August, 2007 by staff of Dillon &Murphy, as <br /> well as interviewing the present owner, Mr. Nassano. <br /> 3.2 Description of all past on-site potential and/or known above and below ground sources <br /> of contamination identified at the project site: The site has historically been used for <br /> livestock grazing purposes and poses little potential for contamination.
