There are no above ground storage tanks as well. The site does contain a domestic well and septic system near the home. 3.4 Description of all past off-site potential and/or known above and below ground sources of contamination identified in the area of the project site: Past off-site potential for contamination is the proximity to the surrounding orchards and the chemicals used in their farming operation. Due to this depth and no history of heavy pesticides or fertilizers used on the property in the past or present, the risk for contamination is minimal. The use of approved best management practices for the containment of soil or any contaminates by straw waddles around the construction site and other practices7oreTce the mtro�f any dirt or contamma esT�m o the storm f noff system will be required at the time of any future construction per County Building Department. 5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS SECTION: 5.1 Discussion of the above evaluation: The past and present uses of this property create minimal potential for contamination. The close proximity to the surrounding orchards could be a concern.
