v
but considerably lower than the 45 mg/L M.C.L. Due to the size of the parcels, the
soil type, and the depth to groundwater, the likelihood of groundwater
contamination due to this development is minimal.
VIII. CONCLUSION
Based on the results of the percolation test, and the soil profile, it is
Dillon & Murphy's opinion that the seven of the eight parcels tested are suitable for
onsite sewage disposal systems. Parcel 1 will require an Engineered system (see
Appendix) unless a suitable percolation rate can be achieved in the proposed leach
area. Any system proposed for any of the eight subject parcels should be designed
and installed based on the most current San Joaquin County criteria.
Based on the depth to ground water in the area and the size of the proposed
parcels, it is our opinion that the installation of any new proposed septic systems, if
properly installed, should not adversely affect the quality of ground water in the
area.
IX. LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided
regarding the proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site
conditions as they existed at the time we excavated our test holes and performed
the percolation tests. It was assumed that the test hole and percolation tests
results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
Our services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions
proposed in accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and
practices.
