DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response
sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and
permitted hazardous waste facilities.
Live Oak searched both databases on June 2, 2015 for any listed sites within
one-quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either database,
and no additional facilities were identified within one-quarter mile of the Site.
7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List dated June 18, 2014, as well as
the Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators, Underground Storage
Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, Site Mitigation FA, Site Mitigation RO, and
Local Oversight Program lists dated October 2014, for facilities of concern within
one-quarter mile of the Site. No facilities were identified within the search radius.
Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Haz Mat Viewer on June 2, 2015 for
the Site and nearby facilities with hazardous materials inventories. The Site was
not identified as a hazardous materials handler, and no hazardous materials
handlers were identified within one-quarter mile of the Site.
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Water Well Data Table dated March 10, 2009 for nearby addresses that have
been tested for nitrate and dibromochloropropane (DBCP). Three wells were
identified at addresses within approximately one mile of the subject Site. Nitrate
was detected in all of the wells at concentrations ranging from 11.0 to 32.0 mg/L.
DBCP was not detected in any of the wells. The Maximum Contaminant Level
(MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate as NO3 is 45 ppm. The MCL for DBCP is
0.2 µg/L.
7.3 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted
regarding agricultural use of the site. Chemical application records were
identified under the name of Van Groningen & Sons. A variety of agricultural
chemicals were applied to the Site from 2012 through the present, as indicated
on the attached pages in Appendix 6. No violations were identified.
LOGE 1512 6
