PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES <br /> ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS: <br /> The Ordinance Requirements listed below have been identified as <br /> pertinent to this project. Other Ordinance Requirements may also <br /> apply. Ordinance Requirements are not appealable. <br /> a. A soil suitability study as required by Section 10100 of the <br /> San Joaquin County Development Code must be performed prior <br /> to recordation of the Parcel Map or letter of approval <br /> indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. <br /> A permit for the percolation test is required from the <br /> Environmental Health Division. <br /> b. Construct an individual sewage disposal system under a permit <br /> and inspection by the Environmental Health Division at the <br /> time of development for parcel one. <br /> c. Construction of an individual domestic water well under a well <br /> permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Division at <br /> the time of development on parcel one. <br /> d. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the <br /> chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and Nitrate prior to <br /> recordation of the Final Map. Samples are to be taken and <br /> run by a State-approved lab. <br /> e. Install an approved backflow prevention device on the water <br /> supply system. <br /> 3 . COUNTY COUNSEL <br /> ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS: <br /> The Ordinance Requirements listed below have been identified as <br /> pertinent to this project. Other Ordinance Requirements may also <br /> apply. Ordinance Requirements are not appealable. <br /> a. Pursuant to Section 66474 . 9 of the Government Code, the <br /> subdivider shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the <br /> local agency or its agents, officers, and employees from any <br /> claim, action, or proceeding against the local agency or its <br /> agents, or its agents, officers, or employees to attack, set <br /> aside, void, or annul an approval of the local agency, <br /> advisory agency, appeal board, or legislative body concerning <br /> a subdivision, which action is brought within the time <br /> provided for in Section 66499 . 37 of the Government Code. <br />
