*ftlo In KLEINFELDER <br /> 8 EVALUATIONS <br /> Kleinfelder performed this ESA of the subject site in conformance with the scope and limitations <br /> of ASTM Practice E1527-00. In summary, Kleinfelder's assessment revealed the following <br /> information about the subject site: <br /> tr <br /> 6, 8.1. FINDINGS <br /> The following sections describe Kleinfelder's findings and provide a general background <br /> tr information about the site. Findings include recognized environmental conditions, historically <br /> recognized environmental conditions, and deminimus quantities, as applicable to the subject site. <br /> Business environmental risk issues are discussed in Section 8.3, Deviations. <br /> 6. <br /> 8.1.1. Background Information <br /> 6. <br /> According to historical aerial photographs, historical topographic maps, interviews with site <br /> occupants and property owners, and the site reconnaissance, it appears that the site has been used <br /> for agricultural purposes since at least 1952. <br /> 8.1.2. Onsite Findings <br /> • The site is currently an almond orchard. <br /> • An irrigation well is located near the center of the site. <br /> • A wind machine with an approximately 65 gallon petroleum tank is located near the <br /> L center of the site. <br /> • Concrete irrigation control structures are located along the eastern boundary of the site. <br /> • A large storage/maintenance shed and small wood shed are located in the southwest <br /> portion of the site. <br /> 8.1.3. Offsite Findings <br /> • Adjacent properties include rural residences, orchards, and a fallow agriculture field. <br /> L • An irrigation canal is adjacent to the northeast corner of the site. <br /> • No off-site properties were identified on hazardous materials/contaminated sites <br /> databases with the potential to impact the site. <br /> • Adjacent rural residents likely use septic tanks. <br /> �. 8.2.
