No changes in use of the Site are anticipated. a e =ive map is presented as Plate 3`m Appendix 1 2.3 Topography A recent U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map was obtained from the San Joaquin County District Viewer. In the map, the Site is depicted as aqricultural land. The property is approximately 55 to 60 feet above mean sea level in an rea with a slight grade down to the southwest. Surrounding properties ar primarily own to be agricultural land and orchard. This map is included as Plate 4 i Appen 1. 3.0 HISTORICAL RESEARCH 3.1 Aerial Photographs Live Oak reviewed aerial photographs of the Site provided by the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California. The available photographs were dated 1937, 1952, 1963, 1975, and 1983. Two additional photographs, dated October 1998 and June 2007, were obtained from the San Joaquin County District Viewer. In the 1937 photo, the Site appears to be agricultural land or irrigated pasture. Surrounding properties also appear to be irrigated pasture. A small area is cleared at the southeast corner of the Site. It appears that the rural residence on the western side of the Site (not a part of the Site) has several animal pens which extend east onto the Site. The surrounding properties are agricultural land or irrigated pasture with scattered rural residences. In the 1952 photo, the cleared area in the southeast corner of the Site and the animal pens discussed above are no longer apparent. Adjacent properties to the east and south have been planted with orchard. No other significant changes are apparent. In the 1963 photo, the adjacent land to the north has been planted with orchard. No other significant changes are apparent. In the 1975 photo, it appears that the Site and an adjacent parcel to the west have been planted with orchard. No other significant changes are apparent. In the 1983 photo, a residence can be seen along the southern edge of the Site. No other significant changes are apparent. n LOGE1009 Page 2
