3.7 Description of Proposed or Expected Maximum (including second unit dwellings) septic <br /> tank usage on site. There is a packing shed on site with existing septic systems. In the future \ <br /> a new home could be constructed on any of the new parcels. However, each parcel is entitled to a <br /> primary residence and a second unit dwelling. Any new systems must be constructed under a permit. <br /> 4.0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION: <br /> 4.1 Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater in the general area: The depth to <br /> ground water in this area is approximately 90 feet according to the map of"Lines of Equal Depth / <br /> to Groundwater" published Spring, 2013, by the San Joaquin County Public Works Department of <br /> Water Resources. The gradient descends from east to west. <br /> 4.2 Description/Discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination issues <br /> in the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater contamination in this area are <br /> deemed moderate due to the depths involved. Types of activity in the area include crop fertilization, <br /> pesticides and other chemicals used to protect the orchard. Insecticides, pesticides, and fertilizers <br /> typically do not significantly impact groundwater at these depths. However, as with any agricultural ` 2 <br /> area,there is always potential for contamination due to chemicals and types of production in farming <br /> — operations. <br /> 4.3 Description of location, type and construction of well and location where water sample(s) <br /> were obtained: Water samples were taken from a faucet at the well located on the property in <br /> question, 500 N. Jack Tone Road on November 12, 2014 by Mike Toy of Dillon& Murphy. <br /> 4.4 Description of constituents being tested for in the water sample: The water samples are being <br /> tested for nitrates and DBCP. <br /> 4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the lab: <br /> The water samples were obtained from a faucet at the well located at 500 N. Jack Tone Rd. The <br /> samples were taken by Mike Toy of Dillon& Murphy, and driven directly to Precision Enviro-Tech. <br /> The samples were taken and handled in accordance with Precision Enviro-Tech requirements. The <br /> results from the test can be found in the appendix. <br /> 4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third party <br /> sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the lab.
