Conditions of Approval <br /> SA-90-60 <br /> Page 3 <br /> f. The proposed wash/water recycling area must be designed <br /> by a Registered Engineer and approved by the Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board. A copy of the approved <br /> design shall be submitted to Public Health Services. <br /> g. If floor drains are required, they must be plumbed <br /> through a sand/oil separator and discharged to an above <br /> ground system approved by the Environmental Health <br /> Division. This system must be designed by a registered <br /> engineer. Applicant must file an application for <br /> facility permit/waste discharge with the California <br /> Valley Region. The application forms can be obtained <br /> from the Environmental Health Division. If the above <br /> ground holding facility had to be emptied you first would <br /> have to analyze the contents for any hazardous material. <br /> You can obtain specific test requirements from the <br /> Environmental Health Division. <br /> h. If hazardous material is stored on site applicant must <br /> register with County Office of Emergency Services. <br /> i. If hazardous waste is generated applicant must obtain an <br /> EPA identification number and comply with applicable <br /> regulations. <br /> 3 . Building Inspection Division: <br /> ORDINANCE REQUIREMENTS: <br /> The Ordinance Requirements listed below have been identified as <br /> pertinent to this project. Other Ordinance Requirements may also <br /> apply. Ordinance Requirements are not appealable. <br /> 1. The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin Ordinance <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in <br /> the construction plans before submittal to the Building <br /> Inspection Division. <br /> a. Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled access <br /> requirements (C.A.C. , Title 24) . <br /> b. The floor area of the repair shop (H-4 occupancy) shall <br /> be served by one or more floor drains which shall drain <br /> to an approved grease and oil separator. The separator <br /> shall have prior approval by the Local Health District <br /> before submission to this Division for permits and meet <br /> all the criteria for hazardous waste generation. <br />
