SA-90-60 .
Dear Chandler;
Pursuant to my conversation Tuesday with Steve
St Sure, the purpose of this letter is to address concerns
expressed by your staff regarding the operation of a Custom
Fertilizer Application Business on the subject site . It is
my understanding that the following issues are of concern: 1 .
road access for emergency vehicles, 2 . Proximity to Little
John Creek and safeguards necessary to protect water quality.
3 . Fire Safety Measures, and finally,
4 . Landscaping and Visual Screening of the site .
For the sake of clarity, I ' ll address the issues in the order
listed above .
Emergency Vehicle .Access
Due to the bridge at the South approach to the property
on Jack Tone road, and also due to the Railroad Crossing
along the North approach to the property on Jack Tone, We
propose to locate the main entrance to the facility midway
between the two P .G. 6 E. powerpoles approximately in the
center of the property. A secondary emergency access can be
provided by use of a graveled roadway along the North bank of
Little John Creek, which would provide two routes of ingress
and egress in an emergency situation .
P.O.
