Participation in the SJMSCP satisfies requirements of both the <br /> state and federal endangered species acts,and mtsures that the impacts are mitigated below a <br /> level of significance in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br /> Although participation in the SJMSCP is voluntary, lead agents should be aware that if project <br /> applicants choose against participating in the SJMSCP, they will be required to provide <br /> alternative mitigation in an amount and kind equal to that provided in the SJMSCP. <br /> SJCOG, Inc.has reviewed application PA-0400519(SA).This project involves establishing a <br /> farm services business consisting of a 9,800 square foot warehouse/shop and 2,200 square foot <br /> commercial office and outdoor storage yard. The project site is located east of Jack Toile Rd. and <br /> nortb of Verdon Rd.; east of Stockton. <br /> This project will require the conversion of Agriculture habitat and as such should condition the <br /> project applicant{s)to participate in the SJMSCP. <br /> The project is located within the unmapped land use areas and as per the requirements of the <br /> SJMSCP those projects are subject to case-by-case review by the Habitat Technical Advisory <br /> Committee(TAC)prior to participation. <br /> If you have any questions,please give me a call at(209)468-3913. <br />
