According to Karen Kammerer, District <br /> Secretary,the only incident on file for the vicinity of the subject property was a complaint regarding the <br /> smell of propane at a residence on Eagle Bay Road. Ms. Kammerer was able to search records dating <br /> ` back two years." <br /> 13.1.5 San joaguin County Agricultural Commissioner <br /> The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioners office 12 was contacted regarding use of <br /> agricultural chemicals on the subject property. Hazel Gallego of the Agricultural Commissioner's office <br /> found records for the subject property under the name of Mr. Herb Goehring (Appendix F). Mr. <br /> Goehring had permits to apply paraquat to the subject property in 2002 through 2006. No use reports <br /> were found. <br /> L /According to the U.C.Davis Extension Toxicology Network(EXTOXNET)web site,13 paraquat is an <br /> RUT and a highly toxic compound in EPA toxicity class I. The chemical is highly persistent in the soil <br /> L environment, with reported field half-lives of greater than 1,000 days (Pesticide Information Profile, <br /> 1996). <br /> A3.1.6 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System <br /> One domestic well,one irrigation well,and one septic system are located on the subject property. The <br /> locations of these features are indicated on the site map (Appendix A). <br /> The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on September 26,2005 in an effort to obtain copies <br /> of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property;three permits were found. The <br /> first permit, dated 1977,was for the installation of a new irrigation well on the property.
