I KLEINFELDER <br /> Lstructures and improvements on site at the time of Kleinfelder's assessment, and current <br /> uses of adjoining properties. <br /> • Chapter 4, Records Review, is a compilation of Kleinfelder's review of several databases <br /> L available from Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies regarding hazardous <br /> substance use, storage, or disposal at the subject site; and for off-site facilities up to a <br /> mile radius from the site. Environmental liens or activity and use Limitations are included <br /> r <br /> in this chapter. Records provided by the client are summarized and copies of relevant <br /> documents are included in the Appendices of this report. Interviews and telephone <br /> conversations conducted by Kleinfelder with people knowledgeable about the site <br /> (including the client) and local regulatory personnel are included in Chapter 7. <br /> L • Chapter 5, History of the Site, summarizes the history of the site and adjoining <br /> properties. This history is based on various sources which may include: a review of aerial <br /> V photographs, Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps, city or suburban directories, historical <br /> topographic maps, building department records, previous assessments, and a chain-of- <br /> 6. title/preliminary title report (if provided by the client). <br /> 1 • Chapter 6, Site Reconnaissance, describes Kleinfelder's site observations during the site <br /> L reconnaissance. The methodology used and limiting conditions are described. <br /> • Chapter 7, Interviews, is a summary of telephone and personal interviews conducted <br /> L with "Key Managers" that may include the owner/manager of the facility, <br /> occupants/tenants, local government officials, and the client. Additional interview <br /> sources may be contacted if"Key Managers" are not available prior to production of this <br /> report and include adjacent landowners and people with historical knowledge of the area <br /> L <br /> • Chapter 8, Evaluation, is a presentation of our findings and opinions regarding the <br /> information in Chapters 3 through 7; and presents our conclusion regarding the presence <br /> 6. of recognized environmental conditions at the site. <br /> tr • Chapter 9, References, is a summary of the resources used to compile this report. <br /> Pertinent documentation regarding the subject site is included in Appendices of this report. <br /> r. <br /> 20-4019-08.P01/201 IR1314 Page of 28 <br /> Copyright 2001 Kleinfelder,Inc.
