In the 1983 photo;two additional ponds can be seen to the south of the former river. No
other significant changes are apparent.
In the 1998 photo, the Site.appears to be planted with vineyard. Only two structures
(the shed and the residence) are present on the Site. The ponds are no longer present.
In the 2002 photo, no significant changes are apparent.
In the 2006 photo, the residence can no longer be seen. No other significant changes
are apparent.
These photos are included in Appendix 3 of this report.
4.0 SITE INSPECTION
David Welch of Live Oak inspected the site on June 15, 2010. Photographs of the Site
are attached to this report as Appendix 2. The inspection was limited by gravel
surfacing and vegetation obscuring the ground surface in places. The interior of the
structure was not inspected, nor was the southwest comer of the Site to the west of the
river.
The Site is a vineyard with a river running along its western side. A wooded area lies to
the west of the river. A gravel road begins at Bender Road and bisects the Site, ending
at a large shed and gravel parking area. A water well is located on the east side of the
shed. A 550-gallon above-ground fuel storage tank is located on the west side; no
staining was observed beneath the tank, and it does not appear to be currently in use.
Near the northwest corner of the Site is a rectangular unplanted area. A second gravel
road runs along the southern.boundary of the Site. An agricultural well is located near
the center of this road. Near the western side of the Site, the road turns to the north
and leads to.a landscaped house pad for the proposed residence. Two pole-mounted
transformers were observed on the Site, one near each of the wells; only one of these
was observed to be labeled PCB-free.
The,adjacent properties are vineyards, orchard, and vacant land. The Mokelumne River
is located less than one-quarter mile to the west.
LOGE1014 Page 3
