/5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> ✓ 5.1 Interview with Property Owners <br /> Michael Phillips was interviewed by telephone on June 11, 2010. He indicated that he <br /> has owned the property approximately ten to 12 years. The Site is currently a zinfandel <br /> vineyard. It was a walnut orchard at the time of purchase; he removed the orchard after <br /> owning the Site two years. He and his son farm the property. Mr. Phillips indicated that <br /> the only chemical stored on the Site is sulfur, which is kept in the shed. The spraying <br /> company they use mixes all chemicals in trucks or tanks. He stated that a residence <br /> located on the Site burned down four to five years ago; he believes it was approximately <br /> 50 years old at that time. Many years\go a hog ranch was located on the Site, he said. <br /> There are two wells on the Site, one domestic and one agricultural; both date to before <br /> his purchase. Mr. Phillips was not aware of an dumping or other environmental <br /> I P � Y P 9 <br /> concerns on the Site or in the vicinity. <br /> 6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS <br /> 6.1 Environmental Health Department Records <br /> The EHD was contacted regarding the Site addresses of 23429 North Bender Road and <br /> 390 West Jahant Road. According to Evette Johnson, no records related to <br /> environmental issues are on file for the Site (personal communication, June 17, 2010). <br /> Live Oak requested copies of the EHD well and septic permit files for the Site address. <br /> The only record on file was a 2005 permit for destruction of a septic system. It has <br /> been included in Appendix 4. <br /> /7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH <br /> d <br /> 7.1 EPA Databases <br /> The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated sites <br /> through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and the <br /> Department of Toxic Substances Control (DISC). The SWRCB's GeoTracker database <br /> includes underground storage tank (UST) sites, leaking underground storage tank <br /> (LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land disposal sites. DTSC's EnviroStor <br /> database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response sites, voluntary cleanup <br /> sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and permitted hazardous waste <br /> facilities. <br /> LOGIE1014 Page 4 <br />
