7.2 Environmental Health De artment Databases
On March 4, 2010, Live Oak reviewed two databases maintained by the EHD, the
Underground Storage Tank Site Mitigation List, dated February 18, 2009, and the
LOP/Non-LOP Sites list, dated November 10, 2009, for surrounding facilities of concern.
No listed facilities were found within one-quarter mile of the subject Site.
Live Oak reviewed the EHD's Water Well Data Table dated March 10, 2009 for nearby
addresses that have been tested for nitrate and dibromochloropropane (DBCP). Five
nearby wells were identified at addresses located within approximately one-quarter one
mile of.the Site, .Fourof these wells were found to-have non-detectable DBCP; one well
found to have DBCP at a concentration of 0.01 parts per billion (ppb). Levels of nitrate
as NO3 within these wells ranged from 4.67 to 39.0 parts per million (ppm). The
Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate as NO3 is 45 ppm;
the MCL for DBCP is 0.2 ppb. Based on these results, it appears that the wells tested
in the area contain nitrate at varying levels, but none in excess of the MCL. The wells
tested in the area were not found to have DBCP contamination above the MCL.
✓7.3 Office of Emerg- ency Services Databases
The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES) website was searched
on March 3, 2010 for the subject Site. No records were identified for the Site address.
Michelle Halliwell of the OES -was interviewed by telephone on March 3, 2010. She
indicated at this time that no hazardous materials incident reports are on file in the OES
database for the Site address.
,/7.4 A ricultural Commissioner's Records
The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office was contacted regarding
any agricultural use of the site. According to Hazel Gallego, no chemical permits, use
reports, or violations are on file for the Site under the names of Dixon or Bell (personal
communication, February 19, 2010).
✓7,5 Department of Oil Gas and Geothermal Resources Maps
The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) Online
Mapping System (DOMS) was queried on February 21, 2010 for mapped oil or gas
wells within one--quarter mile of the subject Site. It appears that one plugged well, "Lgzu
D" 201 (API# 07700066), may be located on the west side of the Site or immediately
adjacent to the west. Based on review of DOGGR well map 611, the well appears to
straddle the line between the Site and the adjacent property to the west; it seems likely
that the.road just to the west of the Site was paved to provide access to the well.
LOGE1004 Page 5
