1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> E <br /> This Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) has been prepared by Live <br /> Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) at the request of Tom Dixon. The subject of <br /> this investigation "is the Dixon property located at 9273 East Jahant Road, Acampo, <br /> California. The San Joaquin County application number has not yet been assigned. <br /> X1.1 About the-SSCR <br /> The SSCR is a document specific to San Joaquin County that aims to identify sources <br /> of on-site or off-site contamination .affecting the .Site, both current and .past. The San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) will review this information as <br /> part of a land use application for the Site and may request action to address any <br /> contamination identified. The SSCR is designed for this specific use. Live Oak <br /> prohibits use of the SSCR by any other parties or for any other purpose, including but <br /> not limited to making business or health risk determinations. The client is encouraged, <br /> however, to seek further information and take steps to remedy any contamination that <br /> may be present on the Site. <br /> Per EHD policy, this report is only valid for six months from its date of cornipletion. The <br /> land use application must also be submitted to San Joag,uin County_within six months of <br /> the completion of this report for the SSCR to remain valid. <br /> /2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The .Site .is a 10.0.7-acre _property .located .at .927.3 East Jahant .Road, Acampo, <br /> California. The Site is one parcel, Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 007-310-10. It <br /> consists of grazing land with a residence, barn, and outbuildings. A location map and a <br /> site map are attached to this report as Plates 1 and 2 in Appendix 1. Photographs of <br /> the Site are attached as Appendix 2. <br /> /2.1 Zoning <br /> The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the <br /> Site is zoned AL-5, limited agriculture with a minimum parcel size of five acres. This <br /> zoning designation -"is intended to recognize and preserve areas that contain existing <br /> concentrations of small-scale agricultural operations and dwellings." <br /> 2.2 Pro osedDevelopment <br /> A minor subdivision is proposed. Mr. Dixon indicated he has no plans at present to <br /> build on or otherwise change the uses of the Site (personal communication, February <br /> 17, 2009).
