L ✓ 2.3 Toorah <br /> A recent U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map was obtained from the <br /> San Joaquin County District Viewer. In the map, the Site is depicted as agricultural land <br /> with two structures. The.property is approximately 85 feet above mean sea level in an <br /> area with a slight grade down to the west. Surrounding properties are primarily shown <br /> to be agricultural land with rural residences. This map is included as Plate 4 in <br /> Appendix 1. <br /> 3.0 HISTORICAL RESEARCH <br /> 3.1 Aerial Photographs <br /> Live Oak reviewed aerial photographs of the Site provided by the San Joaquin County <br /> Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California. The available photographs were dated 1937, <br /> 1952, 1963, 1975, and 1983. Two additional photographs, dated 1998 and 2008, were <br /> obtained from the.San Joaquin County .District Viewer_ <br /> In the 1937 photo, the northern two-thirds of the Site appear to be orchard. The <br /> southern third appears to be irrigated pasture with two to four small structures along its <br /> western side. Surrounding properties appear to be orchards or pasture with rural <br /> residences along the roadways. <br /> In the 1952 photo, the entire Site appears to be irrigated pasture, and a large barn can <br /> be seen. Several of the former structures can no longer be seen. No other significant <br /> changes are apparent. <br /> In the 1963 photo, no significant changes are apparent. <br /> In the 1975 photo, no significant changes are apparent. The scale of this photo is such <br /> that it is difficult to make site-specific observations. <br /> In the 1.983 photo, a small shed can be .seen to the.north of the.barn.. A garden area is <br /> apparent to the east of the house. No other significant changes are apparent. <br /> In the 1998 photo, three or more structures can again be seen on the Site. A large <br /> amount of surface debris is apparent on the adjacent property to the east. Surrounding <br /> properties now appear to be pasture land and vineyards with rural residences. <br /> In the 2008 photo, the debris to the east can no longer be seen.
