A I
August 31, 1992 _ .3 1992
WMMUNri DEPT,
PLANNAG OMS{ON
San Joaquin County Planning Division
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Attention: Richard Larrouy
RE: Application No. (S) : SU-92-14
Dear Board:
Again, as an adjoining property owner to the above named parcel,
we are sending our voice by mail to protest the continual over-
development in our area.
WATER is a main concern of our state and especially in our area,
where the water table is low and very hard to maintain due to the
hard-pan soil.
Our school is very overcrowded, our fire department is under-
staffed for our population, and our area is overpopulated for
sheriff and civil protection.
There are so many undeveloped properties for sale, BUT MANY very
nice established homes and ranchettes are on-the market; .Rlease
see any realtors printout!
The wildlife in this area will be obliterated.
Two or three years ago we and our neighbors (also adjoining)
inquired with you to try to purchase the entire 36.87 acres and we
were told that this could not EVER be subdivided. . .WHY NOW? If we
could have purchased the property it would have given us security
that we could maintain our COUNTRY atmosphere without overcrowded
housing for our area.
Please consider the above reasons that this closed area should
not be split into so many new homes. WE cannot handle the added
population in the area.
Yours Truly, `I
/JG/i✓' —/.cG*2' Cl/L
0/tA-' (?o . 9KA40't/Q
te
a , C"' ?s:;2-:7 a
