The design of the subdivision or the type of improvement is not likely to cause significant public <br /> health problems. <br /> • This Finding can be made because the soil suitability study, reviewed and approved <br /> by Public Health Services, concluded that development with septic systems and <br /> Individual, private wells Is acceptable for this site. The subdivision's road system will <br /> be constructed to the standards of the Department of Public Works. <br /> 7. The design of the subdivision or the type of improvements will not conflict with easements <br /> acquired by the public at large for access through or use of property within the proposed <br /> subdivision. <br /> • <br /> This Finding can be made because no easements acquired by the public at large for <br /> access through or use of the property exist at this site. Also, the internal road will <br /> be dedicated to the County. <br /> 8. Any land or improvements to be dedicated to the County are consistent with the General Plan and <br /> any applicable Specific Plan, Special Purpose Plan, and any other applicable plan adopted by the <br /> Board of Supervisors. <br /> This Finding can be made because the subdivision's road will be dedicated and <br /> Improved to County standards for a rural residential road. <br /> 9. The design of the subdivision provides,to the extent feasible,for future passive or natural heating <br /> or cooling opportunities in the subdivision. <br /> • This Finding can be made because the seven lots are large enough so that Individual <br /> d _3111ngs can be situated to take advantage of solar orientation. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The applicant is proposing to subdivide a 36.87-acre parcel into seven five-acre lots. Access to the site <br /> would be provided by a private road off Jahant Road that will provide public road frontage for each lot <br /> Proposed services will be as follows: private wells, septic systems, and natura storm drainage. The <br /> Department of Public Works has indicated, however, that storm water disposal s:.all either be provided <br /> by individual storm retention ponds or terminal drainage (see 'Facilities/Services'). <br />
