INITIAL STUDY
(CONT'D)
IIP-92-19
l.b. The installation a well on each of the seven five-acre parcels
is not expected to have a significant, adverse impact on water
quality or quantity in the area. The determination is based
upon the analysis and conclusions of the County' s
Environmental Impact Report for the General Plan 2010, which
designated the site for development on five-acre parcels.
l. c. and d. There are no streams on the project site. There is,
however, a drainage swale running east to west in the center
of the S4te. As noted in item No. 1.a. of this Initial Study,
the project site is not located within the 100-Year Flood
Zone. In order not to increase the amount of storm water run-
off entering the drainage swale, the developer of the project
will be required to either retain additional run-off generated
by the approval of the project in individual storm retention
lots or make provisions for terminal drainage. The latter
will require metering, of storm water flows in the swale to
pre-development levels. The project, therefore, is not
expected to result in significant, adverse impacts on the
area ' s drainage patterns or result in erosion to an existing
water course.
Initial Study (Rev: 01/91)
9
