SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
commuicN
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY ASSESSORS OFFICE °_I WNING
SUPERVISOR GEORGE BARBER
Mr. Richard Larrouy
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
This letter is to serve as a formal protest to Application No. ZR-92-5 and GP 92-5.
We are country loving, caring, concerned taxpayers near and adjoining 9400 Jahant Rd.
Our number ONE concern is WATER! Every new home builder/owner I have talked with
are having to drill their new wells deeper and deeper. Farmers in our area are
having to extend their wells down deeper due to drought years. Overpopulation in
this HARD-PAN, dry soil would surely deplete or pollute our water table.
There are so many homes of great variety, parcel size and home size available in
this area. If anyone is interested in living in the area there are plenty of
existing homes available (that are in the existing plan of accomodations)
We feel this area should have a restricted growth rate for new residential
dwellings until such time the following problems can be addressed or eleveated.
1 . Schools and busing is very overcrowed.
2. We are over-populated for safe, adequate fire protection.
(Fire department needs 50' acess to this subdivision)
3. Police, sheriff and safety is very understaffed for this rural area.
4. Pollution of the underground water table also depletion.
Sincerely,
