However,the yellow
powder and other remnants of the waste pile southwest comer of the vineyard could easily
Lbe a source of contamination.
B. The natural gas well abandoned at the west boundary of the subject property was not
evident during the site visit. Assuming it remains properly sealed,it should not be
L considered an environmental issue on the property at this time.
L C. Because portions of the subject property will continue to be used for agricultural purposes,
the potential for residue from agricultural chemicals should not be considered an
environmental issue on the property at this time.
L
5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
I
L 1. The remaining debris and yellow powder at the southwest corner of the vineyard should be
properly characterized and disposed of off site according to all applicable local, State and
LFederal laws and regulations.
2. The abandoned natural gas well neat the west boundary of the subject property should be
j located and depicted on site maps to insure it is not disturbed or built over in the future.
L
3. During any excavation or grading of the subject property, care should be taken to inspect and
characterize any stained soil discovered in those excavations. Such materials should be properly
. characterized and disposed of off site according to all applicable local, State and Federal laws
and regulations.
L
V
L '004
